THANK OUR HEROES
Help save the restaurant industry by providing delicious meals to our frontline workers at Lenox Hill Hospital.
We began our Initiative in March 2020 with one mission - provide nourishing and delicious meals to those fighting the Covid-19 Pandemic while helping restaurants stay afloat. The generosity of The Town School, family and friends allowed us to start sending meals to the Lenox Hill ER immediately. We continue this gesture of gratitude to the doctors, nurses, security, janitors and all others sacrificing themselves for our collective safety.
We partnered with Butterfield Market and are proud to have played a small role in their delivering of over 40,000 sandwiches to both private and public hospitals. Joelle and Evan Obsatz, owners of Butterfield, have become close friends and have since opened a second location, Butterfield Madison Avenue.
Now, our will has never been stronger as we enter these winter months and a second surge of cases. Our relationship with Northwell Health has always been meaningful. We delivered meals on the day that Dr Yves Duroseau, who runs Lenox Hill Hospital ER, was receiving the first Covid vaccine in the US. It was exciting to be witness to history!
We have a deep and proud history with New York City, hospitality, and philanthropy. Today, the future of the restaurant industry is uncertain and bleak. Thousands of incredible, dedicated people who value hard work have lost their jobs. Restaurants are forever closed. We have grit and are determined to survive.
We remain hopeful. This is a call to action and thank you for your support.
